My fearless companion Suzie and I braved the cold this morning to check out the Las Vegas Rock n Roll Marathon. We were not disappointed. We watched from Mile 22, with 4 miles left to go. I got many great shots, but I thought nothing says Las Vegas like Elvis. Happy Sunday. Now we're home and ready to watch football.

Rock n Roll Marathon
My fearless companion Suzie and I braved the cold this morning to check out the Las Vegas Rock n Roll Marathon. We were not disappointed. We watched from Mile 22, with 4 miles left to go. I got many great shots, but I thought nothing says Las Vegas like Elvis. Happy Sunday. Now we're home and ready to watch football.

I like the Elvis photo. Your Las Vegas pics are great. I like marathons. But I don't like to see the Las Vegas strip shut down on Saturday night, at the busiest time of the night, on the busiest night of the week, hurting the one place in the State of Nevada that pays the bills and taxes for all the residents in Nevada. There are some beautiful roads in Las Vegas with awesome views of the gorgeous mountains surrounding the city where they could run a marathon without crippling the part of the State that brings in the dough.
VTD: You make a very valid point since most of the city & state's bread and butter comes from one street, The Strip. I on the other hand think the marathon's selling point is the Strip.
I find it amazing that the city's #1 Trauma Center is smack dab in the middle of this. Yet we still seem to pull it off. Fortunately it's only one day.

Wow! Very funny Rock n Roll Marathon! I'm coming next month to Vegas and on my bad luck I missed the marathon, it's too late:) Can you please tell me when supposed to be the next one, I'm appreciated for the answer:)
