How about a 15 foot flower pot and a 28 foot spade. This summer's display at the Bellagio's Conservatory. Sunflowers are one of my favorite flowers, I think pansies are my all time favorite. Pansies are a fall and winter flower here in Vegas.

Feels Like the First Time

I don't know what it is about Binion's but I always love to shoot this place. I guess it screams old school Vegas to me. I'm always amazed when I see Downtown Fremont Street lit up, it pretty much takes my breath away just like it did the 23years ago when I first saw it.

Yeah, I'm having a hard time figuring out this one too. How does a couch make it out to desert? If it fell off of your truck you would know it, do you pull over and place it there? Who just dumps it there?

Shot down on Fremont Street, I love these characters I think they add flavor but they are there to hustle a couple of bucks from tourists. 

Biker Gang

Saturday night Fremont Street East was over run by a biker gang. That's right the Hammer and Cycle gang took over Fremont Street East, this past Saturday night with their month ride. This gang is group of bikers who enjoy hot rod style bikes and a good time. I'm trying to convince Larry to join Hammer and  Cycle I think he would be great addtion to the gang his orange,yellow and pink beach cruiser.

Blue Oyster Cult

Last night we went to see Blue Oyster Cult play on the 3rd Street Stage at the Fremont Street Experience, it was painful for me. Not a fan, my husband Larry is. This was the culmination of what has become to be known as the "Larrypalooza" weekend.. We saw The Expendables, we watched Da Bears lose and we went to Blue Oyster Cult.

Don't Play With Fire

Don't play with fire, unless you're a Hawaiian Fire Dancer that is. I don't envy this guy at all especially after the 45 days of straight temperatures in the 100's. You can catch this dancer and a couple of Hula Dancers in the evenings at the Hawaiian Marketplace on Strip. Best of all the show is free.

Book 'em Dano

I just saw an ad for the new Hawaii 5-0 coming this fall. I used to love that show, I wonder how the new show will measure up. This one of the drummers from the Hawaiian Marketplace show on The Stip.

Even Elvis Doesn't Pay Retail

An Elvis impersonator shopping at a Strip sports memorabilia shop, Field of Dreams to be exact. Elvis shopping the warehouse clean sweep sale. I almost missed this one, thanks to Larry for pointing him out to me.

Old is New

Studio 54 inside the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino I have not been inside this one. In the early 80's I spent an evening dancing and drinking inside the original Studio 54. Some time ago I heard that CBGB's was going to relocate and reopen here in Las Vegas, I haven't heard anything more about that. If CBGB's relocated here I would definitely have to check that out.

Monopoly Man

It must be the mustache, because when I look at him I think Monopoly Man. Even though the Monopoly Man wears black. This was shot on The Strip near Smith & Wollenskys.

Good Girl Gone Bad

That's what she said. The matching pink "manties" are safety pinned on the back. Good Gil gone Bad was quite entertaining. Shot on the Strip near the M & M World.

Intergalactic Conversation

Tourist: "Dude I wanna hold the light saber,I wanna hold the light saber, pllleeeeeeeeeeesaaaaaassseeeee let  me hold the light saber!"

Storm Trooper:  "Dude, I got your dude, can't you see I'm a freakin' Imperial Storm Trooper." 

This was shot in front of the M & M World on The Strip in what may seem to many of you like a galaxy far, far away. But to me it's the place I get to call home. 

The Dancing Bartender and the Distracted Tourist

A Golden Gate Hotel and Casino Bartender dancing on the bar during the Fremont Street Experience's Light Show. I like how the guy here doesn't even notice her.Just show 'em something shiney and voila, distracted.

To answer yesterday's question the little short lady is Miss Suzie's official dog walker and Grandmother. The woman in red just another Las Vegan hustling tourists for tips when you have your picture taken with them.

How 'bout this guy getting his groove on in front of the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino Hotel Stage. Let's face it he was probably like Snooki last week only he didn't get busted. Captured here rockin' out to the Karaoke Singer on the stage.

So There's These Four Guys...

(Left to right) Rick James, Austin Powers, Spidey and Elvis are in Vegas.... Sounds just like the begining of a comic's routine doesn't it? Shot Downtown at the Fremont Street Experience, these guys are out there hustling and  trying to make a buck. They put on the costumes and pose for photos with tourists for tips.

Fremont Street Fever

This year Downtown's Fremont Street Experience celebrates the Summer of the 70's. This is the Fremont Street Fever on the 1st Street Stage playing all of your favorite Disco tunes. The shows are Thursdays thru Mondays 9:15, 10:15, and 11:15pm.

Mo in Wonderland

So I went Downtown Saturday night and Fremont Street definitely had not lost it's muchness. I just love this shot of the Mad Hatter.Sometimes I do feel like I've fallen down the rabbit hole into a wonderland. It's really interesting to view the world through a lens, it's amazing all the things people are missing!
