Dos Centennial
Today is Mexican Independence Day, but not just any old Mexican Independence Day. It's the Bicentenario Mexican Independence Day. I like my interpretation better Dos Centennial Day. So have a Dos Equis to celebrate at Diablos at the Monte Carlo Hotel and Casino.

18b Concrete Stamp
While wondering around Arts District I discovered this 18b insignia in the sidewalk outside of the Arts Factory. 18b represents the 18 blocks that make up the Las Vegas Arts District.
I've walked on this sidewalk too many times and never noticed this. Makes you wonder what else you're missing while rushing through our daily lives.

I am trying to think cool, while the temperatures are once again soaring here in Las Vegas. This is the 75,000 gallon aquarium, the centerpiece of the Chart House Restaurant inside the Golden Nugget.
